The Temple Technical Team (T3) is a dedicated team of professionals working to provide you with traffic product knowledge, traffic product/application assistance, field support, and product integration for your traffic signal system. Is your department short-handed? T3 also offers technical service and preventive maintenance agreements, upon request.

Our Temple Technical Team also offers comprehensive training in the CalTrans and NEMA cabinet environments, BBS & UPS technologies, traffic signals, and vehicle detection, along with crucial knowledge of Advanced Traffic Management System traffic control software.

  • TES-201 Basic NEMA Traffic Control & Cabinet Troubleshooting Workshop

    Sept 13 – 15, 2016 | Oct 18 – 20, 2016 | Feb 7 – 9, 2017

    The TES-201 Workshop is designed for the personnel maintaining NEMA traffic controller cabinets and/or supervisors who maintain NEMA traffic controller cabinets. Most students use this course for introductory or beginners session in controller programming and cabinet maintenance. It is recommended that each individual enrolling have at least six months in service, as well as general knowledge of the equipment and traffic industry terminology. Topics of discussion include classroom lecture (Covering Basic Operation Theory & Use), preventative maintenance, controller cabinet troubleshooting techniques, and basic NEMA controller programming/set-up. A question and answer session follows.

  • TES-202 Enhanced NEMA Controller Programming Workshop

    Nov 1 – 3, 2016 | Dec 6 – 8, 2016

    The TES-202 Enhanced NEMA Controller Programming Workshop is designed for the personnel and/or supervisors who will be programming and maintaining NEMA traffic signal controllers. Topics of discussion include classroom lecture, hands-in work with the NEMA Controller, and screen-by-screen instruction on the programming of intermediate functions. It is recommended that each individual enrolling have at least 6 to 12 months in service, a general knowledge of the equipment and traffic industry terminology, as well as basic NEMA Controller programming skills. A question and answer session follows.

  • TES-203 Advanced NEMA Controller Programming Workshop

    January 17 – 19, 2017

    The TES-203 Advanced NEMA Controller Programming Workshop is very difficult, and it is assumed the individual attending this course will already know Basic and Enhanced NEMA Programming. This Workshop is intended for more advanced signal technicians and their supervisors. Topics of discussion include in-depth instruction on the advanced features of the EPAC Controller, hands-on work with the NEMA Controller, and screen-by-screen instruction on advanced programming functions. It is recommended that each individual enrolling have at least 12 months in service and ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE of the equipment and traffic industry terminology.

  • TES-250 Vehicle Detection Workshop

    April 11 – 13, 2017

    The TES-250 Vehicle Detection Workshop is focused on vehicle detection methodology, proper use, and the fielded installation of a variety of vehicle detection sensors represented by Temple, Inc. Radar, video detection, and wireless embedded sensors are covered as topics in this course. A current laptop computer with specific requirements is needed for this class.
